The trailer for 50 Cent’s upcoming television project, which looks at the murders of several well-known rappers, has been released.
On November 3 at 9 p.m., Hip Hop Homicides will make its television debut on We TV of the AMC Network. ET. In addition to Mona Scott-Young, 50 is on board to produce the show, and journalist and podcaster Van Lathan will serve as the host.
The documentary series will delve deeply into the sudden demises of rap icons including XXXTENTACION, King Von, Chinx, and Soulja Slim.
Over the course of eight episodes, it seeks to learn more about the deaths, many of which remain unsolved, and include interviews with people who knew the deceased artists. In the trailer below, Asian Doll, French Montana, and Juvenile all make brief appearances.
According to a statement from 50, “G-Unit Film and Television has succeeded by telling true tales. Premium non-scripted programming will be a significant focus as I keep expanding my existing slate. Hip Hop appreciates broken things. The artists that didn’t survive the fight will be highlighted in this series.

Meanwhile, this week’s murder of PnB Rock changed course when police detained a 17-year-old suspect on Wednesday on suspicion of murder (September 28).
The teen’s father, Freddie Lee Trone, was first named by LAPD as a “person involved” before it was claimed that he served as the getaway driver for his son who carried out the execution.
On September 12, a heist at Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles in South Los Angeles resulted in the deadly shooting of the Philadelphia rapper.
Rock’s father and kid were apparently already waiting for him in the restaurant’s parking lot, dispelling the notion that the rapper’s girlfriend’s location-tagged social media post contributed to his demise.
Police are requesting assistance from the public in identifying Trone, who has been described as “armed and dangerous” and is now on the run.
