Kim Kardashian Remembers Her Father Visiting A Psychic Who Predicted His Last Name Would Be 'Internationally Known'

Kim recalls her father visiting a psychic after joining Simpson’s defense team in a new GQ cover story. Simpson and Robert were both University of Southern California graduates who became good friends in the early 1970s. Later, in 1994, when Simpson was charged with the double murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman, he sought the advice of Robert.

Kardashian was not a licensed attorney at the time and served as a contact between Simpson and his other lawyers. Nonetheless, Kardashian gained national prominence during the trial, which was difficult for him and his family because it lasted a year.

“So one afternoon he sought out a seer to find out what the fates had in store for his family,” writes GQ writer Sean Manning. Kardashian was not a fan of psychics because she was a devout Christian. He later regarded the medium’s predictions to be “outlandish” and remained skeptical about psychics.

“She saw my last name and said, ‘Kardashian will be internationally known,'” Robert confided in Kim. “This is how I know they’re full of shit!”

Kim does not appear to share her father’s beliefs about mediums. While she is religious, she frequently seeks revelations from psychics and mediums, and she has a few she visits on a daily basis.

“One is more of a spiritual healer putting out good vibes and energy,” she said. “When they tell me something, I write it down.” I don’t leave thinking that I’m going to go over the list and make sure everything comes true. I’ll forget about it in a few days. Then, six months later, I’ll reread my session notes and it will have happened.”

“I’m probably more religious than most people think,” she continues. She and her four children pray together at bedtime, and she reads Bible stories from books her father read to her and her brothers as youngsters.

“That’s how I manage my life,” Kim explains. “I look at everything as lessons.”
