Enrique Iglesias has transferred ownership of his recorded music catalog created before 2021 to Influence Media Partners as a component of a broader agreement with the music rights company.

Although the specific details of the agreement were not made public, it is speculated to have a value in the range of hundreds of millions and encompasses his rights to his name, image, and likeness. As to the information later disclosed by Influence to Digital Music News, the agreement encompasses the rights to recorded music created before 2021, including the artist’s independent masters and the revenues from Universal recorded music.

At first, Influence did not reveal the extensive acquisition, only exposing components related to the management of catalog, image, and likeness assets to DMN.

The esteemed Enrique catalog comprises 11 studio albums, five compilation albums, and 62 singles, with popular tracks like as “Hero,” “Bailando,” and “I Like It.” Lylette Pizzaro started Influence Media Partners in 2018. BlackRock and Warner Music Group made a $750 million investment in Influence Media in 2022 to purchase libraries from female and minority musicians. The fund has subsequently invested in 26 artist catalogs, encompassing talents such as Julia Michaels, Future, Blake Shelton, The Sterotypes, Ali Tamposi, and others.

Iconic Artists Group acquired Graham Nash’s publishing catalog, while Reservoir Media acquired Joe Walsh’s share of his publishing catalog.
