A poll of 150 global sports executives revealed that 79% believe automated content production will have a substantial influence on their organizations.
According to the Altman Solon 2023 Global Sports Survey, 61% feel that remote production would have the same effect, while 74% believe that content localization will result in major changes. 52% believe that content augmentation, such as gamification, statistics, and augmented reality, will have an impact on sports media.
The collapse of “Web3.0” technologies is striking, with only 26% believing they will make an impact.

To reap the benefits of these technologies, rights holders and sports media organizations must engage in a well-defined innovation roadmap that focuses on areas with long-term growth opportunities. Furthermore, evaluating new products and understanding interdependencies among different innovation sectors will be critical for successfully navigating the changing landscape.”
