Prince William spoke out on conspiracy rumors surrounding his wife Kate Middleton’s mysterious recovery from stomach surgery.
“His focus is on his work and not on social media,” a Prince of Wales spokesman told People on Wednesday.
The announcement comes after countless royal watchers expressed their concern for the Princess of Wales, who has only been seen in public once since her hospitalization in January.

Last month, the palace stated that the princess, 42, is “doing well” but refuses to provide any other details out of respect for her privacy.
“Kensington Palace made it clear in January the timelines of the princess’ recovery, and we’d only be providing significant updates,” her spokeswoman told Page Six exclusively at the time. “That guidance stands.”
Middleton is not scheduled to resume her royal duties until after Easter, which is on March 31 this year.
Recently, social media users have floated many ideas about the princess, falsely claiming that she underwent plastic surgery or was in a coma.
William, 41, scared supporters even more last week when he skipped a memorial service for his late godfather, King Constantine II of Greece, for unspecified “personal reasons.”
However, Middleton assuaged royalists’ concerns on Monday when she was spotted for the first time since attending a Christmas church service with her husband and their three children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.
The princess was seen wearing sunglasses in the passenger seat of a car driven by her mother, Carole Middleton, near Windsor Castle.
The royal family is currently missing two senior members, as King Charles III, William’s father, is battling cancer.
