Police are still moving forward with their investigation into Nikola Jokic’s brother, revealing to TMZ Sports that they have identified the man who Strahinja Jokic struck in the face earlier this week.
According to a Denver Police Department spokesman, they have “been in communication” with the fan that Strahinja struck following Monday night’s Game 2 of the Lakers vs. Nuggets game at Ball Arena.
However, the representative withheld whether the man has formally made a police report or if he intends to file charges.
“At this point,” the spokesman stated, “no arrests have been made and the investigation is still underway.”
Although he is now out of the police’s sights, Strahinja also seems to be out of the NBA’s sights for the time being.
The organization declared on Tuesday that it is investigating the matter, but it has not yet penalized the Jokic brother in any manner, which would allow him to maybe attend Game 3 of the LA vs. Denver series at Crypto.com Arena on Thursday night.
As for Nikola, the Nuggets star hasn’t addressed the issue in public yet.
