The battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar may be gone, but the opinions will not cease anytime soon.

LL Cool J was the latest to comment on the heavyweight fight, calling the Toronto superstar’s involvement with the Pulitzer Prize winner a “bad choice.”

The 56-year-old rapper chatted with Hot 97’s TT Torrez and agreed with the popular agreement on the winner. Kendrick won the battle. I mean, come on. That is evident. “That is a no-brainer,” he stated. “Listen, I like Drake. I enjoy his music and think he’s a really cool guy. We do not know each other, but I enjoy his songs. I’m glad for him and everything.”

Despite his admiration for Drizzy, he believes he may not have understood what he was getting into with the Compton rapper. “But, you know, Kendrick… that might have been a bad choice.” Aside from the setback, he believed the feud benefited Hip-Hop.

“I respect both of them,” LL Cool J explained. “Don’t get it twisted; it was excellent for Hip Hop culture. As a result, their names will go down in history. Even the very act of discussing it now is etching it into history.
