Frederick R. Overpeck asserts to TMZ that he was a security guard backstage at the time of the reported altercation. The 58-year-old claims that as a result of trying to defuse the situation, he ended up with a fractured vertebra and a damaged hip. He says that during the encounter, Brown was kicked and assaulted by a member of his squad. He continued by comparing the entire scene to a “prison yard beat down.” Indeed, those are pretty powerful remarks.
