Microsoft’s online site has experienced another outage, only days after an IT breakdown that halted most of the world’s operations.

The company stated that it was examining allegations of user issues with its services, with some citing unable to access email and other operations.

An alert on the technology giant’s service status website stated that it was investigating a “network infrastructure” issue that was affecting access to Microsoft services.

The event occurred less than two weeks after a huge worldwide IT failure put global infrastructure offline, including transportation and healthcare services, due to a weakness in a software upgrade from cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike that affected Microsoft devices.

On its service status website, Microsoft stated: “We are investigating reports of connectivity difficulties to Microsoft services worldwide.

“Customers may encounter timeouts when connecting to Azure services. We have many engineering teams working to diagnose and remedy the problem. More information will be shared as soon as feasible.”
