Coldplay surprises fans by offering tickets to their world tour for only $20 — but the precise seats are chosen at random.
Coldplay has announced that tickets for their ongoing world tour are available for the equivalent of $20. These Infinity Tickets will be available in limited quantities for each show on the Music of the Spheres World Tour, allowing fans to attend.
“They cost the equivalent of £20 / $20 / €20 per ticket and must be bought in pairs,” states the announcement on the band’s website. “Infinity Tickets are randomly allocated anywhere in the venue — from the back row to the floor to the best seat in the house.” Fans are invited to sign up for alerts ahead of the sale.

The announcement comes after the band hinted about two further gigs in 2025 to benefit the Music Venue Trust. The group’s handwritten notes guaranteed two concerts at Craven Park and Wembley Stadium next summer. Furthermore, 10% of the earnings from these events will benefit the Music Venue Trust, which supports grassroots venues and young musicians.
Fans praised the action on social media, particularly given the controversy surrounding Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing structure. With the much-anticipated Oasis reunion gigs, fans have complained about the expensive ticket prices in the face of such tremendous demand.

“Coldplay doing a limited run of £20 tickets for their upcoming UK shows just proves that bands have a choice to make their gigs more affordable,” a fan said on the old Twitter account. “Wouldn’t generally mention stuff like this, but congratulations to Coldplay for providing Music Venue Trust with a big portion of ticket money. “Will make a significant difference in our scene,” wrote another.
And, in typical Coldplay fashion, the forthcoming gigs will be totally powered by solar, wind, and kinetic energy. Next year, the band will perform in Manila, Singapore, Bangkok, Athens, Bucharest, Lyon, Rome, Dusseldorf, Helsinki, Munich, Vienna, Dublin, Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland.
