Beyoncé has already had a fantastic year. COWBOY CARTER, the hitmaker’s eighth studio album, was released in March, just a few months after her record-breaking “Renaissance” tour ended.

She also developed her own whiskey brand, SirDavis, which has already achieved enormous popularity. She has now set a new record for Grammy nominations in 2025.

According to Billboard, she is up for 11 awards this year, the most ever by a female performer. She broke her personal record of 10, which she previously shared with Lauryn Hill. Hill had ten Grammy nominations in 1999, while Beyonce won ten in 2010. She is up for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and more.

Other nominees include Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, and more. Beyonce’s nominations come after she was reportedly passed over for both the People’s Choice Country Awards and the Country Music Awards. Despite the success of COWBOY CARTER, she received no nominations in any category at the CMA Awards. She also left the PCCAs empty-handed, after being nominated for a record 17 trophies.

Dolly Parton, a genre veteran, commented on the snubs in an interview with Variety earlier this year. “There’s so many wonderful country artists that, I guess probably the country music field, they probably thought, well, we can’t really leave out some of the ones that spend their whole life doing that,” she told me somewhat.
