Metro Boomin appears to be working on something with Young Thug now that the rapper has been released from jail and is able to resume work.

Metro posted a photo to his Instagram Story on Wednesday night (November 6) of his computer screen, which revealed a studio session for a song called “Jeff Home,” which refers to Thug’s real name, Jeffery.

While he didn’t provide any additional information, it’s safe to presume the pair will be dropping something off in the near future.

Earlier this week, Young Thug reconnected with former mentor T.I. and appeared to be working on something.

“Yes, guy. “What do you have to tell these people?” In a shared video, T.I. asks Thug, who responds: “Back, Jack […] No cap in my rap.” “The correct way.”

Tip, who is slated to give his final performance next month and is now working on his 12th and final album, also hinted at new songs in the caption.

“Yeahhhhh, YKWTFGO. The Kings have reconvened. #KingJeffrey #KingSr “I guess I’m officially out of retirement [shrug emoji]. For tonight [crying face emoji]. #welcomehome,” he added.

T.I. isn’t the only rapper Young Thug has reconnected with after regaining his freedom.

In one of his first social media posts as a free man, the YSL executive publicly approached Lil Baby about a new collaboration.

“Wham, let’s drop one on these rats, Peter,” he wrote, using his protégé and regular collaborator’s nickname.

Blackboard-style billboards have subsequently appeared in Los Angeles and Chicago, with the phrase “Whatever Wham Say Goes,” a reference to Thug’s prior tweet when he was still in jail.

Lil Baby seemed to be on okay with the concept, as he responded by sharing a video on Instagram Stories set to his and Thug’s 2020 song “We Should.”

The 4PF rapper also welcomed Thug home, adding in a follow-up post: “I missed you mf!!!! Welcome home, Brudda! Thank God you made it back to your family in good health and spirits! Wish you nothing but billions, Jack! #whatwhamsaysgoes.”
