Dave Coulier was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

The “Full House” star shared his “roller coaster” health problem on Wednesday’s “Today” show.

“[I was] feeling like I got punched in the stomach because it never happens to you,” he stated after being told he had cancer. “You always hear about it happening to someone else.”

Coulier, whose initial symptom was a lump in his groin, stated that he was “on pins and needles for a few days” while waiting to see if the sickness had gone “to any major organs, [his] blood, bones or anything.”

While waiting, the 65-year-old actor informed his wife, Melissa Coulier, “I’m okay with whatever the news [is], no matter how devastating.” I’ve lived a fantastic life. I’ve had the most incredible folks in my life. This has been an incredible adventure, and I’m fine if this is the end of it.”

.However, Dave was informed that the cancer had not spread outside of his lymphatic system.

The comic has since begun chemotherapy treatment, which was “intense” and “scared the daylights” out of him.

“There [are] days where I feel unbelievable,” he told me. “Then there are those days where… “I’m just going to lay down and let this happen.”

Dave is anticipated to complete treatment in February 2025, having undergone six rounds of chemotherapy every three weeks.

While his diagnosis did not “sound great,” Dave informed viewers that the cure rate is encouraging.

He and Melissa, 41, are married since July 2014.

Dave previously married Jane Modean in June 1990, and they had a 33-year-old son named Luc.

The impressionist is most known for playing Joey Gladstone on “Full House” from 1987 to 1995, and he reprised the character on “Fuller House” for five seasons.

In January 2022, the cast mourned co-star Bob Saget’s death at the age of 65.

Dave paid tribute to his late friend with a heartfelt tweet at the time, stating, “My heart is broken.” I love you, Bob. Dave, you will always be my brother.
