Members of the famous Jackson family paid their respects to Tito Jackson in a Los Angeles cemetery on Monday, more than a month after the singer died.
The Jackson 5’s founding member was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendale, California, where his own brother, Michael Jackson, was entombed following his death at the age of 50 in 2009.
Paris and Blanket Jackson, the King of Pop’s children, were spotted socializing with family members outside the packed funeral service.
Tito’s brother Marlon Jackson, who was also a member of The Jackson 5, and sister La Toya Jackson were among others who paid their respects to the late Motown star. Other Jackson family members there included Jafaar and Jermagesty, Jermaine Jackson’s sons with ex-wife Alejandra Loaiza.
Tito’s kids, Taj, TJ, and Taryll, revealed the singer’s death on Instagram in September, describing the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer as “an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being.”
They added… “Some of you may know him as Tito Jackson from the iconic Jackson 5, others as ‘Coach Tito’ or ‘Poppa T.’ Nonetheless, he will be greatly missed.
While an official cause of death has yet to be determined, Tito reportedly had a heart attack while driving from New Mexico to Oklahoma shortly before his death.
He was seventy years old.
