Ty Dolla $ign hinted at a “coming real soon” release date for his collaborative project with Kanye West.

The duo of rappers had been in Saudi Arabia, presumably finalizing the recording.

At a recent event, he announced to the crowd, “I just landed on a flight from Saudi Arabia.”

“My brother Ye and I have been recording a portion of my album, and it will be released very soon.”

The news follows the postponement of the pair’s album listening event.

It was reported last month that they were looking for a distributor for their next record.

The two have reportedly received five offers for the record and have been selling it around.

The record was anticipated to be released in the coming weeks, thus a source told Billboard that Kanye “will make a decision soon”.

Distributing the record was apparently a possibility for Too Lost, the 2021-founded music distribution and publishing firm that also handles Kanye’s rights on YouTube.

According to the publication, “some who’ve heard the music say it’s West’s best music” since ‘Ye’ from 2018, but businesses are wary of being linked to the controversial rapper because of his past anti-Semitic remarks.

Although they have collaborated frequently since 2014, Ty and Kanye’s most recent project together was “Junya Pt. 2” from his 2021 album “Donda.”

They have previously collaborated on Ye’s ‘Everything We Need’ (2019), ‘Real Friends’ (2016), and ‘Only One’ (2014) as well as Ty’s 2020 song ‘Ego Death’.

Meanwhile, a leak of the highly anticipated album “Jesus Is King 2” by Kanye and Dr. Dre occurred lately.

Features from Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Travis Scott, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Anderson.Paak, A$AP Ferg, and Marsha Ambrosius can be found on the action-packed follow-up to Kanye’s 2019 gospel album.

Still, the most of it consists of Kanye adding a few verses to the original songs’ reworkings and remixes.

It was announced in October that the rapper and Def Jam had broken up, with the rapper’s label G.O.O.D. Music no longer being affiliated with the label.

Due to a series of anti-Semitic remarks he made last year, including praising the “good things” about Adolf Hitler and saying he wanted to go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE,” the “Good Morning” rapper lost his deal with Adidas, was dropped by agents CAA, and had brands like Balenciaga and Vogue magazine distance themselves from him.
