Even though they will have to wait at least a year for the game, GTA 6 enthusiasts are still sharing their predictions.

Although not much is known about the game at this point and no release date has been set, Rockstar last month unveiled the GTA 6 trailer.

Gamers are attempting to put together any hints that might hint at what to expect from the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game while they wait for it to arrive, which is currently estimated to happen in 2025.

Some others believe they have deduced the release date from the film after discovering a “hidden message” on an aircraft.

‘Why Sixty Nine When You Can Nine 1 Nine?’ is what it says, and it has many people wondering if a September 19, 2025 release date is possible.

There have been rumors circulating that the three birds depicted in the teaser image of the film suggest that the game would include three main protagonists.

As they continue to examine the video, GTA enthusiasts believe that Lucia’s ankle monitor may have significance.

Some sections of the world are only accessible after achieving particular milestones in earlier games like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas. People have speculated that GTA 6 may feature similar limits due to Lucia’s ankle monitor.

In a Reddit post, someone expressed their thoughts and inquired as to whether certain areas of the map will require unlocking.

They were asking: “Am I the only one who wants GTA 6 to bring back other parts of the map being locked until you progress through the story to unlock them?”

And since then, someone has said that doing so would’make sense’.

“Well-founded theory. It would also make more sense than enormous, pointless roadblocks,” they wrote.

“With Lucia’s ankle monitor, it might be possible again,” said an additional person.

Some may find it annoying that certain areas of the map must be unlocked, but others may find this feature useful.

“I know it may seem contradictory, but personally, I would love for this to return,” a fan commented.

“My favorite moments in Vice City and San Andreas were when I finished the plot and was able to access additional vehicles and islands. The larger landscapes provided a unique sense of freedom and game growth, even with their seeming restriction.

“This feature, to me, helped to define the identity of the classic GTA games.”

A different player commented: “I’d prefer certain regions be locked because I’m gonna be really tempted to explore everything and that will keep me away from the main story, I’d rather experience everything the map has to offer when it’s introduced to me through the story.”

Only time will tell, I suppose.
