Based on rapid national estimates from Nielsen and data from Adobe Analytics, CBS said that its coverage of the Super Bowl was the most watched telecast in history, with total audience delivery of up to 7% to 123.4 million average viewers across all platforms.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers on January 11th was seen by about 202.4 million viewers, an increase of 10% over the previous year.
The broadcaster stated that there were 120 million viewers on CBS, the highest number of viewers for a single network ever.

With a record-breaking viewership, Paramount Plus also set a record for the most Super Bowls ever streamed. How many people watched the game on CBS was not disclosed.
A competitor of Nielsen, iSpot.tv, earlier revealed that 126.6 million viewers watched the Super Bowl, a 10.9% increase over the previous year.
On Tuesday, final Nielsen statistics are anticipated.
