Beyonce was not the only artist to release new music during Super Bowl LVIII; Jennifer Lopez has announced a new album to go with her musical cinematic experience, which will be released this Friday.
The Grammys may be Music’s Biggest Night, but the Super Bowl could be its second-biggest night, with many musicians taking advantage of the occasion to promote new music. Following Taylor Swift’s announcement of a new album at the Grammys last week, the Super Bowl has served as a launchpad for a number of artists with impending projects.

Usher, who performed at the Halftime Show, announced an expansion of his North American tour, while Beyonce released new music (and announced a new album) during a playful Verizon ad, and Jennifer Lopez teased new music during her comical cameo in a Dunkin Donuts spot starring Tom Brady, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck.
Jennifer Lopez’s first major music project in nearly a decade, the 65-minute musical film “This Is Me…Now: A Love Story,” premieres on Prime Video this Friday, February 16, alongside a new full-length album.

The name refers to her third album, This Is Me…Then, which was published in 2002. Five days before her debut, J.Lo is celebrating the return of traditional physical albums with a tailored collection of unique and limited editions on CD and vinyl.
The deluxe CD includes a 40-page booklet with exclusive images, as well as two of 20 possible polaroid photos, a type with which K-pop fans are already very familiar. The regular vinyl comes in “Jennifer’s favorite color of green,” along with eight extra exclusive vinyl colors, resulting in a collectors series that is currently available for preorder.
The film, directed by Dave Meyers and Chris Shafer from a script Lopez co-wrote with Matt Walton, is based on an original story by Lopez and stars (naturally) Lopez alongside husband Ben Affleck. A-list guests include Jane Fonda, Trevor Noah, Post Malone, Keke Palmer, Sofía Vergara, Kim Petras, Fat Joe, Jay Shetty, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and others.
