Eminem’s new Expanded Mourner’s Edition of his 2024 album The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) features more than just two new songs.
It also includes a somewhat different remix of the previously JID-assisted “Fuel,” which now features Shady Records signees GRIP and WESTSIDE BOOGIE. On it, the Detroit rapper takes more blistering punches at Diddy. “The Notorious B.I.G.’s death was the domino effects of Tupac’s murder,” he raps in his new stanza. “Like a facial tissue, which card should I clean next?” Puff’s? ‘Til he’s in police handcuffs, guilty, will he stand up? / Like gee, never turned himself in, who knows how many murders there have been? Or, if I’m next, be prepared for me to choose none of my words wisely.”

This builds on Eminem’s prior Diddy insult on the same song. “I’m like an R-A-P-E-R / Got so many eses (essays), S-As,” he raps in the original version. “Wait, he didn’t just spell the term ‘rapper’ and leave out a P, did he? / Rest in peace, Biggie. And ‘Pac, both of y’all should be alive / But I ain’t trying to feud with him / ‘Cause he might place a hit on me like ‘Keefe D, get him.'”
The most recent update on Diddy’s multiple misbehavior charges came in the form of a new sexual abuse lawsuit filed by Danity Kane vocalist Dawn Richard. He also apparently lost a default judgment of $100 million in a sexual assault case, for which he filed an emergency motion to dismiss. That’s not even getting into Keefe D’s current trial for Tupac Shakur’s murder, or how his name has come up in connection with murder charges. Overall, things aren’t looking good. It’s evident that Eminem is strengthening his stance.
Big Sean recently commented on his partnership with Eminem on The Death Of Slim Shady, following numerous prior collaborations. “I’m pleased to be a part of that CD as well. “For sure, for sure,” Sean said on the VMA red carpet. “It was the first album I purchased from Costco with my birthday money. That was way back. “Being on The Death of Slim Shady was a full circle moment.”
