After the Yeezy fashion cooperation ended, Kanye West and Adidas officials struck a settlement.

Managers at the German sportswear behemoth immediately terminated the collaboration when the Stronger rapper posted a series of antisemitic comments on social media in October 2022.

However, CEO Bjørn Gulden revealed on a Tuesday conference call that all claims had been settled and that both sides had decided not to pay any other any further money after years of legal disputes and private arbitration over the ruling.

According to the BBC, he stated, “There (aren’t) any more open issues and there is no… money going either way,” “There were tensions on many issues (but)… both parties said we don’t need to fight any more.”

Additionally, Gulden stated that any turmoil involving Kanye, who is now known as Ye, “belongs to the past”.

“When you have conflicts like this, you take provisions and you have legal opinions and there are negotiations and there are settlements being done, and this is the end to it,” the chief executive said. “There are no longer any debts owed to anyone. Whatever happened is history.

Kanye’s spokesperson has not yet responded to the reports.

The Yeezy Boost 750 was a huge hit when it was first released in 2015, and enthusiasts waited for hours to get their hands on a pair. Later, the contentious hip-hop artist debuted his equally well-liked Yeezy fashion line.

But Adidas was left with $1.3 billion worth of unsold shoes after the Yeezy contract was terminated.

Bosses chose to sell the shoes and give a portion of the sales to organizations like the Philonise and Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change and the Anti-Defamation League rather than destroying the inventory.
